This policy explains how to cancel a HireSagar subscription, what is refundable, how a partial refund is calculated, and how long a refund takes to reach you. It applies to every paid plan and add-on purchased through hiresagar.com.
In short. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Annual plans can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. If you have already used the platform, the refund is reduced by the value of what you used — not refused.
Cancel at any time from Settings → Billing in your account. No notice period, no cancellation fee, and no need to contact us first.
Cancelling is not the same as requesting a refund. Cancelling stops future payments; a refund returns money already paid, and is governed by the sections below.
The Free plan costs nothing and there is nothing to refund. The 7-day free trial does not require a payment method and is never charged, so no refund arises from a trial expiring.
HireSagar is a digital service delivered entirely over the internet. There is no physical shipment and nothing is posted to you. Access to a paid plan is provisioned automatically and immediately once payment is confirmed — typically within seconds — and is used by signing in at hiresagar.com.
If a payment succeeds but your plan has not activated within 15 minutes, contact billing@hiresagar.com with the payment reference and we will either activate it or refund you in full.
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and remain active until the end of the current month you paid for.
We do not refund part of a month already in progress, because the plan’s allowance is made available in full at the start of the period. If you were charged in error, or something on our side prevented you from using the service, contact us and we will put it right — see section 7.
Annual subscriptions can be refunded if you request it within 14 days of the payment date.
You receive a full refund of the amount paid.
You receive a partial refund. We deduct only the Intelligence Operations you actually consumed, charged at the same rate they cost to buy as an add-on pack — currently ₹3 per operation — and refund the rest.

We use operations consumed rather than days elapsed because operations are what actually cost us to serve, and because they are recorded precisely — you can see the same number in Settings → Billing → Usage at any time. The deduction can never exceed the amount you paid.
After 14 days, annual plans are not refundable. You may still cancel, and your plan remains active until the end of the year you paid for.
Add-on packs are consumable. An unused pack can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase. Once operations from a pack have been consumed, that portion is not refundable, and the remainder is refunded at the same per-operation rate described above.
Email billing@hiresagar.com from the email address on the account, or use the contact form. Include the account email and the approximate payment date — we do not need your card details, and you should never send them.
Refunds are always returned to the original payment method. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card, account or person.
If a renewal payment fails, we retry and notify you by email. If it continues to fail, the subscription moves to the Free plan rather than being deleted — your data stays intact and you can restore the plan by paying. No penalty or late fee is charged at any point.
We may decline a refund where an account has breached the Terms of Service — for example, abuse of the platform, fraudulent payment, or repeated refund requests that indicate the service is being used without intention to pay. This is not a general escape clause: if we decline, we will tell you why.
All prices are shown in Indian Rupees on the pricing page, and that is the amount charged. Any tax that becomes applicable in future will be shown separately at checkout and on your invoice before you pay. A refund returns the tax charged along with the refunded amount.

This policy is governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.
We will give 14 days’ notice of material changes by email or in-app notification. The policy that applies to a purchase is the one published on the date of that purchase.
