ATS software for Indian hiring teams, priced in rupees

HireSagar is a hiring intelligence platform built and billed in India. It does not convert a dollar price at checkout, it does not treat a B.Tech as an unrecognised qualification, and it does not need an AI subscription to read a résumé. Free to start; paid plans from ₹2,499/month.

Priced in rupees, not converted

Most hiring software sold in India is priced in dollars and billed in dollars. The figure on the pricing page is not the figure on your card statement, it moves with the exchange rate, and your card may add a foreign-transaction fee on top of that.

Every HireSagar plan is denominated in rupees in the product itself. Payment runs through Razorpay. Annual billing is charged as ten months rather than twelve. There is a free tier that does not expire, and the paid ladder starts at ₹2,499 per month — the full table is on pricing.

It reads the qualifications on an Indian résumé

This is the difference you will notice within ten minutes, and it is not a marketing line — it is a list you can check. A screening tool whose vocabulary was assembled from American résumés does not recognise half of what an Indian candidate actually holds, and the failure is not a blank field: it reports “no degree detected”, which reads to the candidate as being called unqualified by a machine.

B.Tech / B.E.
Engineering degrees, in both the forms Indian universities print them.
B.Com / BBA / BCA
Commerce and business degrees, including the CA-track commerce base.
MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS
Medical, dental, ayurvedic and homeopathic qualifications.
B.Pharm / M.Pharm
Pharmacy, read at the right level rather than as an unknown.
MCA / PGDM / M.Tech
Postgraduate computing, management and engineering.
ITI / apprenticeship
Trade certification — the qualification that actually licenses the work.

Trade qualifications matter here for the same reason. An ITI certificate or a completed apprenticeship is the credential that licenses the work, and a tool that only understands degrees scores a time-served electrician as having no education at all.

Built for the volume Indian hiring actually runs at

Campus intake, agency shortlists and walk-in drives are volume problems, and volume is where per-résumé AI cost becomes the constraint. The analysis here is deterministic: it reads the document's own text to grade skill evidence, sum real tenure from the dates, and score fit against a specific role, with no model call in the path. The same document always produces the same result, which also means two candidates screened weeks apart stay comparable.

Notice periods, which shape every Indian pipeline, are a planning problem rather than a screening one — but they are why time-to-hire reporting is worth having before you need it.

What we cannot do for you yet

Worth knowing before a procurement conversation rather than during one:

  • Data residency. We do not offer a contractual commitment that candidate data stays in India, and we do not name a region in the contract. If in-country residency is a hard procurement requirement, raise it with us before you buy.
  • GST invoicing. Tax handling is built and switches on with our registration; until it does, invoices carry no GST line. Ask us where that stands before you buy if it matters to your finance team.
  • Regional language résumés. The engine reads English and the transliterated names, institutions and qualifications that appear on Indian English résumés. A résumé written in Hindi, Tamil or Marathi script is not parsed.

We would rather lose a sale to an honest limitation than win one and be found out in your security review.

Common questions

Is HireSagar priced in Indian rupees?

Yes. Every plan is priced in rupees natively, not converted from a dollar figure at checkout — so the amount you see is the amount you are charged, and it does not move with the exchange rate. Paid plans start at ₹2,499 per month, and there is a permanently free tier.

How do I pay?

Through Razorpay, India’s payment gateway — the same checkout you have used on most Indian SaaS and e-commerce sites. Annual billing is charged as ten months rather than twelve.

Does it read Indian qualifications properly?

This is the part most screening tools get wrong. B.Tech, B.E., B.Com, BBA, BCA, MCA, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Pharm, PGDM and ITI are all read by name and placed at the correct level. A tool whose vocabulary was assembled from American résumés reports several of those as “no degree detected”, which reads to the candidate as being called unqualified.

Can it handle campus hiring volume?

Résumé analysis is deterministic and runs without any AI provider, so throughput is a function of plan limits rather than model quotas or rate limits. Check the per-plan résumé allowance on the pricing page against your intake before you commit.

Can you guarantee my candidate data stays in India?

Not contractually, no — and it is better you hear that now than during a security review. Application data sits in managed cloud infrastructure, and we do not currently offer a data-residency commitment or name a region in the contract. If in-country residency is a procurement requirement for you, ask us where that stands before you buy rather than assuming either way.

Which law governs the contract?

Indian law, with disputes subject to Indian jurisdiction. The full terms are on the terms page.
